Installation Notes:
"The M80 sport tabs are great for this boat. The 8 inch span and
10 inch chord are a perfect fit. They are very easy to install, and the instructions
are very simple to follow. I mounted the trim tab switches up front by the steering
wheel, and I easily ran fishing wire through the hull (to pull the wiring through). There
is full access through the engine compartment, which made hydraulic tubing runs
simple. I hooked the power directly to the battery, which was easy."
Note: The location hull identification plate on this Sea Doo lies where the M80's
starboard actuator would mount. To avoid having to remove the plate, a slightly
longer actuator was used. The actuators can be exchanged free of charge by
contacting Bennett Marine.
The M80 Sport Tabs fit well on the unique transom of the Sea Doo 1800.
The waterproof Rocker Switch Control integrates well into the
Challengers helm area.
Sea Trial Results:
"It makes an unbelievable difference in the performance and
handling in choppy water and glass water. When the Sport Tabs are slightly below hull
level, this boat will perform in the ocean without jumping out of the water. The
tabs make for a smooth ride. The boat planes faster and handles great. I would
recommend the Sport Tabs on every Sea Doo boat they make. I have talked to people at
